Internet poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many variations on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course all of the other players acquire 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a sum equal to the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out chips even with your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
