Poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variants on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer declares "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players acquire five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original ante, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
