Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers play against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, new players do not have to fret about other, more knowledgeable players winning their mulla.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices will be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty decisions.
It is also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with basically a little amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the house is given 7 cards face down.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
