Poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers acquire five cards. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the bet is the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with an amount equal to the original wager. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays out cash even with your bet and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
