Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a great game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players don’t have to worry about any other, more advanced players winning their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, newcomers will be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make quick selections.

It is also much simpler to play for a very long time with just a little amount of money seeing as, to lose, both of your hands must be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the croupier gets seven cards face down.

A five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
