Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in a great game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, starting players don’t need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their money.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty decisions.
It is also simpler to participate in for an extended time with basically a small amount of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
