Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers compete against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable people winning their mulla.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also much simpler to play for a long time with only a tiny bit of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
