Have you noticed the new PokerPro hold em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks back when I took a quick trip with my parents to the WinStar Gambling den in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my turn to be summoned at the live tables, I observed how the other men and women around the PokerPro tables interacted with each other. It was pretty interesting to say the very least. Since the poker table was computer controlled, there were no poker chips to do any chip tricks, no cards to shuffle and the actual live encounter was stagnant. Maybe I was the only one that discovered this, except I did notice the gamblers on the table had a lifeless high quality to them. The cause of this may possibly be because there was no human interaction with the dealer, the atmosphere was relatively dull and the players looked bored. It was nearly as if I was seeing a live variation of an internet texas hold’em poker room rather than sitting with hot blooded humans. It was a little creepy and I kept flashing back to an episode of The Next Generation and the holodeck broke down.
Since the waiting time for the stay tables was over an hour, I made the decision to observe how the casino game play was and to understanding this new holdem poker gaming technologies. After betting a couple of hands, I genuinely felt like I was playing at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle and stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those items are feasible at these digital tables.
An additional thing I noticed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a good deal of hands on the PokerPro table and noticed that the play was a good deal like a web based hold em poker website. That could have been just a coincidence, except I discovered it to become very odd.
After wagering a couple of rounds with this "new hold’em poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m far better off wagering holdem poker on the internet at home and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino were to receive rid of the stay poker tables, I think they would shed a whole lot of players.
